Hawzah News Agency- The President of the Mexican Senate, in a meeting with Iran's ambassador to the country, while appreciating Iran's independent stance and resistance against Washington's pressure policies, said: "We praise Iran's resistance and dignity against America."
In this meeting, the two sides discussed ways to expand bilateral relations, especially parliamentary, economic, and cultural cooperation between Iran and Mexico. The President of the Mexican Senate, referring to the importance of relations with Tehran, emphasized the need to strengthen political dialogue and use joint trade and investment capacities.
Iran's ambassador also in this meeting, explaining the positions of the Islamic Republic of Iran regarding regional and international developments, emphasized Tehran's commitment to constructive engagement and developing relations with Latin American countries, including Mexico. He also appreciated Mexico's support for the rights of the Iranian nation and its opposition to unilateral US actions.
At the end of this meeting, the two sides emphasized the continuation of political consultations, exchange of parliamentary delegations, and expansion of economic and cultural cooperation within the framework of the common interests of the two nations.
